Add Export DataSources as task on Scheduler

There is an Export option in Data Source Settings, but you have to go in and remember to do it. A client recently lost their Data Source Settings when their Jet Report license accidentally lapsed and it was a royal pain to get them back.

It would be a great feature if you could schedule a Data Source Settings Export on the Jet Scheduler, then you could just schedule it and be done with it.

Assuming a setup dialog similar to other Scheduler dialogs, it would be nice to have have a basic export file name defaulted for your, along with a couple other options like overwrite existing export file, prepend or append current date and/or time and/or datetime to specified export file, prepend or append next numeric sequence to specified export file (e.g. 01DataSourceExport or DataSourceExport02) where Jet would automatically calculate the next number in the series.

  Hello j2associates,

  Generally, unless the user's computer OS was reinstalled, the datasources.xml file is always going to be found in the user's roaming profile folder. For that reason, an export wouldn't be necessary since the file is still present on the computer.

  You can always find this in the below location by opening Windows Explorer, type %appdata% in the address bar and press enter
  This will bring you to your roaming profile folder "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\"
  
  

  The scheduler as it is currently designed works in conjunction with the built-in Windows Task Scheduler by interfacing with it to run .job files that are created for each task which are stored in C:\Windows\Tasks\ folder directory. 

  The Windows Scheduler can basically be used to execute a file or program. 

  I am not certain if what is being asked is possible based on how the Windows Task Scheduler works. You can export a task also.

  You could try to use the Windows Task Scheduler directly to export this file instead of the Jet Scheduler.
