Is there any way users can run Jet Reports on a mobile device other than via Jet Hub? Our company has workers who strictly work outside, and they need access to a report that tells them how much product to ship. The report is unable to run on Jet Hub because some of the functions in the report, such as Union, Filter, CountUnique, etc., are not currently supported through the Hub. We have come up with a way to send the employees a scheduled report every few minutes, but they are only able to see pdf version of the report at a stationary time and they need to be able to run the report for any date.

CascadiaDataworks There must be other issues because all of those Jet functions are supported in the Hub. I just tested NL(Filter), NP(Union), and NL(CountUnique) and all work. Honestly, at this point, I don't know of any Jet functionality that is not supported in the Hub at this time.
There was a bug in the Hub that caused reports that use multiple data sources to fail. Do your reports use multiple data sources (using Datasource=)? This has been fixed in the most recent release.
As for an alternative, I don't know of any other systems you can use. Anything you choose has to support Jet Reports and the Hub is the only online tool that I know that would be able to run a report. They are proprietary functions so I don't think anyone else can build tools using those functions.

april funk Tried again and the report does run on the Hub now (thank you!), however, the Report Options are not working when we access the Hub from a cell phone. On the desktop version, we can filter the report by location and date to get specific information. We are not getting the prompt box to select these filter options on the Hub when we run it on a cell phone. Does that mean I have to create different versions of the report for each location and then for each moment in time that is relevant (today, tomorrow, etc.)?

Craig Sakach I work with April...just want to expand on her last post. The filter box does not appear on either Android or Apple mobile devices. On Android, the report will run and open correctly when using a report that does not have any filters, on Apple, it will run but it will not display when you try to open it, you only get a "about:blank" page. I've tried it on Safari, Chrome, FireFox, and Brave, all with the same results.

CascadiaDataworks Those are great questions/concerns. I would reach out to jetsupport@insightsoftware.com to discuss. My demo Hub is hosted locally on my machine so I cannot access it via my phone. When I emulate a device in Chrome, the options pop up as expected so I can't personally recreate the issue.

april funk We figured out the options menu issue. Any experience with not being able to open a jet report from the Hub on an Iphone? Our reports work on androids, but when I use an iphone i get a blank screen with "about:blank" in the url field.

Jake Malatak Hi April,
So far we've only identified one method to open reports in Excel Online via the Jet Hub when working with an iPhone. You would need to use Microsoft Edge in an 'inPrivate' session in order for open reports successfully.
Our engineering team has an item on their backlog to investigate why this is necessary for iOS devices.
