I've created a Pivot Table based on NL("Table") function for arranging open orders by Location and Item. This works fine, but then I want to add a column to the Pivot Table where I can pull the Inventory on Hand from NAV.
So a given row would start with the Item no, list the qty ordered for every open order on each column across with a total at the end column, and then I want a final column to compare with our actual inventory.
I can do it manually once the table is created, but how can it work dynamically as the pivot table grows or shrinks? Before report is run, I don't even know how many columns there are so where to put the function to fetch the inventory info.
I'm pretty sure this more excel than Jet, but still stumping me.
