I want to create a report which pulls out the products on a quote based on when the associated opportunity is expected to close. The part that I am struggling with is that an opportunity can have multiple quotes linked to it. I would like for it to select the most recent quote number. However I don't know where to start from. Should I start from the sales line > then link it to the opportunity - but how do I link it to the most recent quote then? Or should you start from the opportunity table and progress to the line level somewhere from that? If so how do you go from top level to line level detail as I always start from the most detailed level and link from there. So there is effectively 3 tables I need to use but the complication of selecting the most recent quote complicates the issue for me. Thanks for your help |
