Hi - trying to get Jet Professional 2018 R2 Build 18.3.18165.4 installed on a new Windows 2016 APP Server and it will talk to a new Windows 2016 Server running SQL Server 2017.
I take all of the defaults during the install on the APP server but have been getting this error for 3 days now:
Jet Setup
Unable to install the feature 'Jet Service Tier'. The following error was reported:
Error -2147217900: failed to create SQL database: JetServices, error detail: CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check related errors..
Anyone know if a permission is missing from the network service account? Does using the Network Service account with the Service Tier really work? On the 2nd screen of the install, I just leave the Database name as JetServices per the install video, should I be changing the Database name to something else?
Thanks.
