Sorting by date and not date/time

hello,

i would like to sort starting with earliest date(not datetime), than sorting by 'omschrijving'. omschrijving is name of engineer. 
Is there a way to format datetime 'ortec Fromtdate' to date in NL function

i would like to sort by date and not date/time. Field in Navision is datetime.

  Hello Frank -

  Given that a Dynamics NAV datetime field has the date first followed by the time stamp - and, thus, the results would be sorted by date, what difference are you trying to obtain?

  Hello Frank -

  You should be able to force Excel to only look at the date portion of the field by using this technique:

  =NL("Rows";"table_name";;"-=TEXT(NF(;""field_name"");""mm/dd/yy"")";"*")

  You would, of course, adjust the date format to match your data.  My example is set for the US format of Month/Day/Year
