Jet Scheduler Error Cannot open excel file

The output file is not generated, giving the following error message:

Microsoft Excel cannot access the file 'C:\Users\EREPEPE1\Documents\Excel reports\Suivi Dépôts Recettes en Banque.xlsx'. There are several possible reasons:

• The file name or path does not exist.
• The file is being used by another program.
• The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook.

Whether logged on the server or not. 

Could you know the Reason?.

  Hello Pedro -

  Is the issue related to all reports or just this report?

  For example, are you able to create a workbook (named Test) containing a simple Excel formula (=1/1), save that file, schedule it, and have it run successfully?

  Dears Support Team,

  I have the same issue as Pedro. Unfortunately is no solution added to this case.

  I have also the issue with a simple Report. When I start the task in the task scheduler manually with "Run", the Report is executed. Also the report is executed, when I schedule the task and when the user is is logged in on the schedule time, the reports are executed.

  Could you advice?

  Hello,

  I had just resolved this same error by adding Permission to DCOM config for the Microsoft Excel Application.

  1) Start -> dcomcnfg.exe

  2) In the Console Root select Component Services -> Computers -> My Computer -> DCOM Config.

  3) Navigate at the right pane, right click Microsoft Excel Application and select the Properties

  4) Add Permissions to User (ID which run the schedule job) in the "Launch and Activation Permissions" and "Access Permissions"
