Thank you for joining the Jet Global family of business users.

This article is intended for use by system administrators.  Standard users should refer to our User Installation Guide.

Our Getting Started with Jet Reports article includes links to this and other articles to help you use Jet Reports

Installing Jet Reports
  1. After downloading the Jet installation program, unzip the contents of the downloaded file.   question.png

  2. Ensure that no instances of Excel are currently running on the system.

  3. Under the folder 1 - Jet Reports – REQUIRED, run the Jet Setup.exe installation file.

Need help choosing which components to install?

Note: Only one version of the Jet Excel add-in can be installed at a time.  This makes upgrading your installation quite easy.  By installing a newer version, it replaces the older version.

Using the Jet Service Tier

Jet Reports includes an online report management system - Jet Hub.  Use of Jet Hub requires the installation and use of the Jet Service Tier for storing and accessing data source and user information.

Please review the Jet Hub Pre-Installation Checklist and then see our article What is the Jet Service Tier for more information.

Adding an SSL Certificate

Use of Jet Hub requires the use of an SSL/TLS certificate.

Instructions for requesting and installing a certificate is available in the article Using an SSL Certificate with Jet Hub.
